Altaf Al Al
Altaf Al Al (1982) is a Kuwaiti artist & painter who excels in the use of colour configurations and the art of transforming materials into art forms. She explores the unlimited potentiality of materials, colours and paints to produce a nice original work of art that is inspiring and motivating hence moving. Viewing her dynamic and exuberant works of art is an exciting kinetic experience as a Color painter; Altaf pursues colour relationships with fervour. Her palette is innovative and complex. She mixes more than 15 different acrylics or watercolour paints to create every colour in her painting. Altaf’s use of both organic shapes and solid forms serves as references to living organisms as well as the world of technology. These patterns cohabitate in harmony, often superimposed upon the other, to create a reverie of unpredictable movement and strong effects. The artist brings an extensive mastery of colour theory, an innate sense of rhythm, and compositional elements to each painting. As an abstract painter, she is an optical illusionist whose art defies special limitations. Her art is visual poetry bursting forth with relentless, energetic expression. Altaf many exhibitions, personal displays around Kuwait and some outside personal admissions and art festivities only reflect great skills in the artistic voice of colours.
