"Much of my art plays with the juxtaposition of organic and inorganic synthetics - employing color, hue, and light, as well as visual perspective to create dynamic compositions. My artistic inspirations range from the works of photographers such as Ansel Adams and JD Dennison, image-makers like Bryan Huynh and Frederik Heyman, visual directors Eiko Ishioka and Nick Knight, graphic designer Paul White from Me Company, as well as painters Remedios Varo or Salvador Dalí. Moreover, I often make use of digital design tools to further abstract and distort my original materials - creating compositions that are both surreal and evoke a sense of euphoria. My techniques attempt to render traditional realistic photography into forms of contemporary design and surrealist modern art." - Jack Hoye.
