Bette Ridgeway

In her five-decade career, Bette Ridgeway has exhibited her work globally in over 80 museums, universities and galleries, including: Palais Royale, Paris, The London Biennale and Embassy of Madagascar in Washington, DC. Her multiple prestigious awards include: Leonardo DaVinci Prize, Top 60 Contemporary Masters, Michalangelo Prize, and Oxford University Alumni Prize at Chianciano Art Museum, Tuscany, Italy. Mayo Clinic and Federal Reserve Bank are amongst Ridgeway’s permanent public placements, in addition to countless important private collections. Her largest painting to date, Arc of the Imaginals, a triptych 15 feet high x 21 feet wide was installed at the Boro Tower in Tysons, Virginia in 2019. Many books and publications have featured her work, among them: International Contemporary Masters, Masters of Today and 100 Artists of the Southwest . Ridgeway has also penned several books about her art and process.
