Annemarie Ambrosoli
Annemarie Ambrosoli is an Italian artist, born in South Tyrol (Italy). She is an internationally recognized visual artist. From 2008 until 2021 she was resident in Austria and since 2022 she lives in South Tyrol (Italy). After her education in art attending painting courses under the guidance of academic professors, she began painting en-plein-air landscapes using oil and watercolor technique. After a long period of outdoor painting, which gave her a lot of satisfaction, she had the desire to change her style to be more creative. In her current works Annemarie reduces the figure's volumes to their simplest geometric components. The focus in her paintings are stylized, simplified unique figures, using forms and lines, that transmit a positive message of love, joy, tranquility, positivity and even a little mystery. The inspiration of her art is music, dance and moments from everyday life, observing people in their daily gestures. Their facial expressions are the starting point to create her figures. When a new idea is born, she immediately paints it on a watercolor paper to save the idea to develop it on a large canvas.
Annemarie Ambrosoli is selected as an International Certified Artist (ICA) by the International Institut for Artist Accreditation, Waalwijk, Nederlande. She was awarded several times, to mention, in 2019 and 2021, the prestigious A' Design Award in the "Arts, Crafts and Ready-Made Design" category. Several art critics wrote about her work.
